“I love how light and the camera lens combine to reveal our everyday world as a mysterious and perhaps, unknowable place.”

I am a retired educator and Pacific Northwest native. I have spent decades hiking, backpacking, birding, kayaking, snowshoeing and rock-hounding all over Oregon. I’ve climbed Mt. Hood twice; I love this state!

My work has been in many juried shows including:

  • Celebrate Arts (Florence OR 2008)

  • Celebrate Arts  Founding image in FEC art Collection (Florence OR 2009) Celebrate Arts (Florence OR 2010)

  • Celebrate Arts (Florence OR 2012)

  • PhotoZone Gallery (Springfield OR 2009, 2010, 2011)

  • Eugene Mayor’s Art Show, Viewer’s Choice Award (Eugene OR 2009)

  • Eugene Mayor’s Art Show, 2010

  • Eugene Mayor’s Art Show,  2011

  • Coos Art Museum Show (Coos Bay OR 2009)

  • The Living River (Jacobs Gallery, Eugene OR 2010)

I was also included in the book, Capture Lane County (2008), the Oregon Parks calendar for 2011 as well as the cover of the Florence OR Business Directory for 2009 and 2010  and the cover of the Mid-Coast Wave 2011.

I joined Backstreet Gallery in Florence in 2010

Stephanie can be found in the early morning and late afternoon or evening trying to capture the light that she envisions for her images.
