I believe that creativity is our soul speaking through us, our true self. It is our job while on this earth to find that light within and shine it to the world. When we are the person we are truly meant to be, we help others discover their light and make the world a better place. It is not an easy path, but it’s one worth taking. Sometimes I wonder if my personal growth helps me create my art, or if my art helps me with my personal growth. I believe it’s both.

I love the experimentation process, as I am sure every artist does. I have several series that I work on, and lots of times the techniques cross over.

In my Cosmos Series, my paint is very fluid, which is a good lesson on giving up control or allowing the process to happen. These represent energy, feelings and emotions.

In my Ruins Series there’s a lot more experimentation. My Cosmos paintings show up in some, but I also have use crackle paste, collage and resin, which is a lot of fun. The effect is amazing! I also have been using printmaking with the smaller ones. This series tell stories.
