I am a former Art and Special Education teacher, who developed many art
projects for my students over the years, including creating my own art. I
have enjoyed Arts and Crafts for most of my life, starting with Girl Scouts.
My special interest in Art, is the medium of pastels. I have been extremely
influenced by the Impressionist’s use of pastels, their layering of colors,
either softly or boldly, and their texturing; I find this to be very interesting and
beautiful.
For the past 20 years, I have been a member of the Pastel Artists of
Oregon (PAO) and have been juried into their many shows.
