Join the celebration of community artists this November at Backstreet Gallery. You’re invited to a reception honoring the guest artists November 9, 3-5 p.m.
Backstreet invited artists to create art pieces that included at least one rock with no boulders or sand. Marvelous creativity burgeoned.
Two avid supporters of the arts in Florence juried the show’s submissions. Jo Beaudreaux is an artist and owner of the BeauxArts Fine Art Materials & Gallery Beaudreaux creates her own photography, graphic design, watercolor, acrylic and encaustic media. Jerry Schneider is a well-versed photographer and KXCR, 90.7, radio host, featuring local artists. His expertise comes from a varied background of photographic and visual-related experience in design, creation, digital imaging and administration.
The work was juried and ribbons were awarded to outstanding artists of our community. You be the final judge on the second Saturday.
