Originally from southern California area, John has always had an interest in painting from his grade school days.
​
A self-taught artist and teacher for 25 years, John likes to bring a simple approach to creating colorful works of art.
​
in 1987 John joined his brothers in a cabinet business that has enhanced homes all along the west coast from California to Washington state. His wood working skills help to make painting classes a more uniform and pleasant experience.
John is a board member of the Florence Regional Arts Alliance, FRAA. His work can be seen at Dunes Cafe, and on Facebook.

Artist statement: “I like to create pictures that capture a higher plane in color and light, from memories or experiences. My hope is that you see what I see.
